Reason for transfer: I have difficulties communicating with Granny because Granny is not able to communicate in English. So sometimes she misunderstood what Granny wanted, and then she was scolded by Granny.

June 2024 to Aug 2024 - She works for a Japanese family staying in a condo. She is taking care of a 7-month-old baby and a cat. She does the cleaning, washing the dishes, cooking, washing clothes, and ironing. The Mdm is working from home, and the baby is in the infant care. The condo is very small, and she is sleeping next to the dining area and uses the blind curtain as a division.

Dec 2021 June 2022 for a Chinese old man in his late 70s living in a 2-storey house. Her duties were mainly to care for him and do the housework. The employer moved to live with one of his children, and so she transferred.

Jan 2020 to Dec 2021 for a Filipino single Mother with 2 kids, then aged 9y and 10y, living in an HDB with the employer's mother in her 70s, whom she also takes care of. Her duties were to send/fetch the kids from school, prepare breakfast and help them get ready for school, and prepare snacks and meals; she also took care of the old lady by accompanying her to the hospital/doctor's appointment, assisting her in going to the toilet, reminding her to take medication, etc. She also managed the housework, like cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and cooking. Dorothea would cook meals like adobo, bee hoon, pasta, and macaroni soup. spring rolls, tinola ( chicken soup), sinigang, stir-fry vegetables. The old lady eventually passed on, and she was also released.

July 2019 to January 2020 for a Chinese family with a newborn baby living in an HDB. She took care of the baby until 6 months old. There was an old couple who lived with them, but they did not get along, so she was released.
