EMELITA is 49 years old and married with 2 grown-up children in their early 20s. She is been working as a helper for 15 years and works for only 1 family. Emelta is interested in taking care of newborns and toddlers. The employer is happy to give a reference if required.

Employer 1 25/03/2010 (15 years)- She is working for a Chinese family in a 2-storey house. She is serving a couple, and the kids were 8 years old and 10 years old when she joined the family. She is working with another helper. Her main job was to take care of the 8-year-old, who is now 23 years old, and the older one was taken care of by the other helper. She and the other helper share the housework like cleaning the house, marketing, cooking, and laundry. They also have a dog.

COOKING:
She can cook Chinese dishes like, fried rice, sweet and sour fish/prik, stir-fried beef with broccoli, wanton noodles, chicken curry, beehoon, Chinese soups, steamed fish/chicken, steamed pork ribs with black beans and black fungus, buttered shrimps, smabal kangkong, stir-fried bok chye and many more to name. She can cook Filipino dishes like Humba (pork stewed), fried fish, fish soup, pork bone soup, menudo, afritada, stir-fried vegetables, beehoon, Filipino beef steak, calamares, chicken adobo, sweet and sour fish, fries, fried egg, egg omelet, pasta, embotido, and she knows how to bake cakes and bread. She can follow a recipe book and YouTube.

HOUSEHOLD CHORES:
She cleans the house, cleans windows, washes the toilets, washes the clothes, and irons. She knows how to operate a vacuum cleaner, a washing machine, an iron, a microwave, a steam iron, etc. She knows how to mop the floor and use cleaning tools.

CHILDCARE:
She reads books before putting them to bed, plays with the children, and reminds them to do the homework, send and fetch to/from the tuition centre, and other off-school activities. She knows how to sterilize milk bottles, cook food, make milk and feed the children, wash their clothes separately, and iron, putting them to sleep.
